Firearm Estate Appraisals

Do you honestly know what your favorite upland bird gun or your 50 piece gun collection is really worth? If something were to happen to you tomorrow, would your family actually know the relative market value of your guns or even what you paid for them? Sorry, no fudging of any numbers allowed! Well, if you don't have a qualified, written appraisal, only the good Lord knows. What your family will be able to sell your guns for, or properly insure, or be able to peaceably distribute amongst your heirs is ultimately up to you.

To answer this growing problem and demand, the professional gun department staff at FIELDSPORT has opened a new service to professionally appraise individual guns or large collections, at reasonable prices. The best way for us to appraise a gun is to personally have it in hand, however if that option is impractical, through the use of e-mailed photos, e-mail or fax correspondence, a fair appraisal is possible. We also offer to travel to evaluate larger collections.

Costs: Our fee for appraising 1 to 3 guns is $95 per gun. The fee for additional guns over that number is reduced to $45 per gun.

Travel fees and additional expenses subject to separate billing.

SUPERSPORT Clays program

Alongside Chief Shooting Instructor, Bryan Bilinski of FIELDSPORT, Mr. Harvison brings a new coaching perspective related to our tried and true instructional programs.

The "TRADITIONAL Wingshooting School” is perfectly suited to both the beginner and intermediate level shooters with a strong emphasis in starting from a gun down position in preparation for upland bird and waterfowl hunting

The "SUPERSPORT Clays Program” will concentrate on the game of “sporting clays” and allow shooting from both a gun up and gun down position. Both sustained lead & swing through shooting methods will be taught in this program. Day two of the program will be spent practicing exclusively on the Cedar Rod and Gun Club clays course.

If you are interested in attending either of these two new instructional programs, please contact Holly @ 231-933-0767. Don’t delay your call, these programs with Andrew Harvison promise to sell out quickly…
